As you can assume with most high energy devices, there poses great risk that users like yourself are exposed to and should be aware whilst using them. There’s a possibility that your batteries may catch fire when overcharged, submerged in water, short-circuited or if their exterior casing becomes damaged. Although the likelihood of the exterior being damaged is low due to the fact that many Lithium Ion batteries are protected, it is still important to take the necessary precautions if it does occur, as the protection circuit is a potential safety mechanism as opposed to something that should be relied upon.

What are battery MAH and AMPS?
Milliampere-hour(MAH),is the standard of measurement that illustrates the total amount of energy that a battery can deliver over one hour. For example, a battery with the capacity of 2000 MAH can deliver 2000 milliamperes(two amps) for one hour before its capacity is exhausted.

How would you go about identifying the right amps level for my battery?
We advise you to never charge your battery at a higher amp than what is indicated by the manufacturer. In order for you to calculate the maximum amp level of charge your battery:

You can do so by using the mAh rate of the battery and moving the decimal point three points to the left.

For example : If you were to have a 2500 mAh battery then it would become 2.5 amp’s(meaning this would be the maximum allowed)

What do I need to know about storing lithium batteries safely?

• During storage periods, keep your lithium battery at a 40% charge state.
• Never leave your lithium battery at an elevated temperature or cold.
• Always check the manufacturer date on a lithium battery.
• Never overcharge your lithium battery.
• Avoid frequent full discharges of your lithium batteries.
• Ensure that you buy your battery products from a reputable company(EcigMaverick) who can ensure quality assurance and safety.
• Do not keep your batteries/cells in pockets, bags or purses etc..
• Keep cells in an approved cell case when not in use.
• Keep batteries/cells clean and dry
• Do not store batteries in close contact with metallic items such as keys or coins
• Do not place your batteries in clothing due to risk of accidentally activating, whilst being protected from it
• Batteries must be stored out of direct sunlight

How can you avoid damaging your battery?
It’s imperative that you follow this because a damage to your battery can lead to a dangerous situation and expose you to these risks:

• You shall not short-circuit batteries

What do I do if my battery has been damaged?

• You shall not use a battery that has been clearly damaged or is seen to be leaking. This type of battery should be discarded immediately in an appropriate manner, whilst a new quality assured battery should be used instead.
• If the battery is leaking, it’s imperative that you do not let it come into contact with the skin or eyes.
• If you have in fact been in contact, we advise you to wash the affected areas with large volumes of water and seek medical advice from a practitioner.

Orders that are placed before 12:00pm between Monday and Friday are typically dispatched on the same day.
• Royal Mail Second Class- Delivered within 2-4 working days.
  This service is offered in the UK by Royal Mail, which aims to deliver your products within 2 to 4 working days after the shipping date, however, please allow them to deliver within 10 working days. Orders that are placed before 12:00pm between Monday and Friday are typically dispatched on the same day. Any orders that are made on Friday will not arrive until the following Monday. Orders from Northern Scotland may take 2 working days.
• Royal Mail recorded First Class- Delivered within 1-3 working days.

• Royal Mail signed for requires your signature before the item can be delivered.
  Your order is tracked from the time you purchase your product to delivery. Delivery is expected between 1-3 working days, however, please allow up to 10 working days. Orders that are placard before 12pm between Monday and Friday are typically dispatched on the same day.
• DPD/Parcelforce Next working day- Delivered the next working day when order is placed before 4PM Monday to Thursday. This service guarantees delivery, the next working day, for orders that are placed by 4pm between Monday and Friday(excluding Bank Holidays)
